12. Purchasing the When Gambling Hits Home Programme

Programme and provider

When Gambling Hits Home is a 12-week online programme provided by Gambling Recovery Therapy Limited, registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at Unit 1, Poplars Court, Lenton Lane, Nottingham, NG7 2RR.

The programme supports adults affected by another person’s gambling. The content and additional support included depend on the package purchased, as described on the programme’s sales page.

Eligibility and suitability

Participants must be aged 18 or over. The programme includes guided hypnosis and is not suitable for people with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, other psychotic disorders or epilepsy.

The programme is not an emergency or crisis service and does not replace appropriate medical, psychiatric or other professional care.

Payment and access

The full price and any applicable instalment arrangements are displayed before purchase. Where instalments are offered, these form part of the total purchase price rather than a monthly subscription.

After payment, customers receive a Participant Agreement for electronic signature. Programme access is provided once the agreement has been signed and any necessary suitability checks have been completed.

If a customer decides not to sign the agreement, or we determine that the programme is unsuitable before access begins, we will provide a full refund and cancel any remaining instalments.

14-day money-back guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee beginning on the date of purchase.

Customers may begin accessing recorded programme content during this period without losing the guarantee.

To request a refund within 14 calendar days of purchase, email contact@gamblingrecoverytherapy.com. Payments made will be refunded and any remaining instalments cancelled. Programme access will end when the refund is processed.

This guarantee is additional to, and does not limit, any statutory consumer rights, including applicable cancellation rights and remedies for faulty or misdescribed digital content or services.

Programme access and use

Programme content is available for 12 months from the date specified in the welcome email. Any additional group or individual sessions included in a purchased package are subject to the arrangements communicated for that package.

All programme materials are protected by intellectual property rights and are provided for the participant’s personal use only. Copying, distributing, recording, reselling or using programme materials to develop or deliver another programme without written permission is prohibited.

International purchases

The programme is offered internationally by a UK-registered company. Prices are set in pounds sterling, although eligible customers may be offered payment in their local currency through Stripe.

Purchases are subject to these Terms and Conditions and the applicable Participant Agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer’s country of residence.
