Gambling Recovery for All CIC.
A Community Interest Company providing accessible, funded support for people harmed by gambling. Founded by Lorraine Perrons and Claire Jones. CIC no. 15981485.
Rooted in lived experience, committed to inclusion.
Our work is rooted in lived experience, compassion, and evidence-informed practice. We aim to reduce harm, restore connection, and support meaningful, long-term recovery for individuals, families, and communities.
We are committed to inclusivity and social justice, working to remove the financial, cultural, and systemic barriers that prevent people from receiving help. Gambling harm rarely exists in isolation. It's often interconnected with trauma, mental health challenges, financial strain, relationship breakdown, and inter-generational patterns of coping and survival.
Built for the people most often missed.
- Individuals experiencing harm from their own gambling
- Affected others: partners, parents, young adults, family members, friends
- Under-served and marginalised communities
- BAME communities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, veterans, women, older adults
- Neuro-divergent individuals, and those facing complex life challenges
- Individuals unable to access private therapy
- People experiencing shame, isolation, or barriers to statutory support
Four principles, held throughout the work.
Trauma informed
We understand that gambling harm and the patterns underneath it are usually responses to deeper distress. The work is paced and shaped accordingly.
Lived experience informed
Our therapists are affected others themselves. The framing, language, and pace of every offering reflects that, not as decoration but as design.
Compassion led
We don't define people by the worst of what they're carrying. Compassion is the doorway, the method, and the standard we hold ourselves to.
Evidence aware
We hold tested clinical methods alongside what lived experience teaches. Both inform the work, neither overrides the other.
